Undergraduate Chapters
ΔP
Delta Rho Chapter
Delta Rho chapter was chartered on November 22, 1961 and on this historic date history was made. The organization of Delta Rho is marked as the first citywide undergraduate chapter of its kind in the South Central Region. Alpha Tau Omega chapter members Mattie Lewis and Zudora McCoy took the initial steps in the development of the Delta Rho chapter. Undergraduate chapters in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority are usually based on a single college campus, but Delta Rho chapter is unique in that it offers membership into Alpha Kappa Alpha to women attending colleges and universities in the city of San Antonio. Membership is offered to women attending Our Lady of the Lake University, St. Mary’s University, University of the Incarnated Word, Trinity University, and the University of Texas Health Science Center. The chapter can be contacted at: deltarhoaka@gmail.com
